Question   The Artists's Eye
I was on a photo shoot the other night that Joe was present at. He has an uncanny ability to select the artistic, from the breadth of an urban terrain. A refreshing element is that he is also not shy about sharing ideas, concepts and vantage points with fellow photographers and artisans.

But more about the "artist's eye". From an entire cityscape Joe identified several focused scenes that cut out the breadth and noise and narrowed like a heat seeking missile on defined and very artistic subset of the whole terrain. And. They would produce pieces people would be proud to hang. That artist's eye is what is reflected in his galleries on this site.

Question   Editing
Dear Joe, this is your beloved Nan from out west. Your passion and professionalism are absolutely shining through in this latest communication. I am delighted to hear that you are able to bring your "two worlds" together in a meaningful way: marketing and artistry. I also love that you are so humble and manage to teach and be the student at the same time, a true renaissance man (rebirth is actually an understatement when I think of you my friend). May I ask one question? does anyone edit your site for semantics, grammar and spelling. Spellchek won't do when it comes to those oh so pesky your and you're, or its and it's...I think that you can ramp up the professional content just a bit by having the spelling edited by a third party....do you think I'm a bitch? I hope not, because I really want to see your soar, and one day I want to be able to won my own collection of Kerr - cscs work. I have my eye on several!

Love you man!

  Answer Hey Nan
Truer words were never spoken. I've always loved your frankness and honesty and I realy miss having you near by. As you know the words can flow out of me quite easly. The grammar has always been my down fall. I have become quite concious of this issue as I've begun documenting more of my thoughts and doing a little more publishing. Amazingly I do use more than spell check as I usually get one of my daughters and my wife to look at everything going out. So maybe your right that it's time for me to have a professional third party to proof my writting. Do you have anyone in mind? Send me an email.
Your absolutely right it hard to soar like an eagle when you write like a turkey.
Thanks Nan !
